BLOOMING OF THE LOLLIPOP LADIES

It seems like women's boobs just keep getting bigger, as the old 12B
 as a standard size
has been replaced with a 14C and growing with some Uk reports suggesting
12F is becoming the new base size.

As a bra- obsessed designer, in September last year I flew over the
University of Melbourne
to  join a small group of specialist to learn from a UK specialist about
PLUS SIZE BRA design up to a, wait, yes a K cup.
Yep, for those of you already gasping it is actually possible to buy up to
a NN cup in stores in Europe.  The trend that I found the most interesting
was that of what I'm calling
" LOLLIPOP LADIES", girls and women with tiny back sizes of
 6-12 with massive boobs.
Is it all the chicken hormones we are eating or what?

Experts claim the increase is due to changing body shapes due
 to diet and lifestyle changes.
(like sitting in our car munching lunch on the way to an appointment),
and the rise in popularity of
cosmetic surgery created by bigger-busted celebrities such as
Kelly Brook and Jordan.
And of course plastic surgery is becoming more popular,
but in my work I am seeing girls as young as 13 having
to be fit in size 6 and 8 G and H cups,
and  hiding them under
baggy shirts to hide their blooming sexuality.

Some of the increase has undoubtedly been due to poor bust
 measuring techniques in the past.
Results show that many women are often between
one and two cup sizes
larger and smaller in the band width than they realize.
This is because most of your support should come
from the band around your body, with the wire then following
the crease or bulge of the breast shape, which can mean a bigger
 cup shape is needed.
This avoids the wire sitting on the bust tissue or riding up and
 squeezing onto the bust itself,
and importantly it stops you spilling over the top and getting the
"double boob" look.
Not a good in a tight tee.
Generally too, the weight women carry is further down on her
waist and hips,
 not around her chest.

With a selection of bras for large cup sizes slowly
becoming available,
it's hard to believe that it's still tricky to find well-fitting pretty bras
for small backs and large cups that aren't akin
to parachute harnesses and aren't padded.
All most big busted women want is support specifically
designed for a large cup, that aren't composed of so
much fabric that you could carry your shopping home
in the cups in an emergency!

Designers are now realizing they have to develop entirely
 new bra designs
which are strong enough to cope with fuller busts.
Always make sure you are professionally fit, it saves
 so much heartache
( boob ache, back ache) in the end.
Make sure you try your favorite fitted top or stretchy tee over
each bra you fit to ensure the shape is
what you want, not too pointy, or "east-west"
point each index finger right now east and west
 and you'll get my meaning.
A properly fitting bra can make you look a dress size
 or 3 smaller too,
 I guarantee that.
As it will lift your breast into the correct position so they don't hang
too low or flatten  out to the sides of your body
making you appear wider.

Finally, don't be scared of the numbers and letters.
It's important to realize that an F cup
for example is not always bigger than an E or DD cup.
In fact, a bra's cup size is dependent on the band size -
so a 10F holds the same
volume as a 12E, it just the back/bust proportion is
differently shaped.
And remember no one sees your bra size but you!
